In the world of risk takers, there is an unsung category—ceramic artists/designers. They bring together shapeless mud, which with their caressing and shaping, they put life to. And when they put it into the kiln, the guarantee of the product that comes out is only limited, but it is this unexpectedness and element of surprise that keeps the artists going. This issue we bring to you the journeys of four such artists, whose ceramic art finds inspiration from the movements of life underwater, colors of the ocean and music. While their products may be easy to shatter, their passion is most definitely not.
